Doug, Keeping it between the lines. Made it to Memphis , LED's a big hit

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to let you know we made it to Memphis after spending Friday night in Nashville.
Been keeping it between the lines and still have all the paint on all 4 corners lol.
Plugged my LED lights in tonight and within 15 minutes, the park manager and his wife drove over in their golf cart.
Had to know where we got the LED lights etc. Said we were the 1st ones here they had seen with them.

Here's a picture of our rig parked overnight in the pull through drive of my nephew. They live in a golf community. Got a ride around the course, dinner and stayed the night. Great folks.

Cool! We went to Sedona last year and then on to the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, it was fantastic. Next week we head to Santa Fe, Grand Canyon then all around the NPs in Southern Utah. If you are staying in OKC, the Twin Fountains RV Park is a good one.
Have fun!

I'm presently camping west of San Antonio, so I'll wave as you pass through northern Texas

Terry,
This park is just a few years old, so everything is new.
The only complaint is not having mature trees.
Good wifi, cable, sewer, water, nice level pads, big sites, dog run, nice staff.

Best regards,
Doug

Be careful stomping around BELL ROCK in Sedona. This is a space portal and you might get sucked into it...

All those red rocks around that part of AZ is hugh with us...

I guess you will be taking the exit at Flagstaff to get down the canyon to Sedona.. Nice windy road... We really love Flagstaff as well. That place has everything for us and a real nice bunch of folks around there. Almost ended up staying there... Say Hi to Flag for me when you pass through. Probably not on your schedule but the Wupatki Indian Ruins 30 miles north of Flagstaff, Az is a must see day long trail to visit - Discover the ancient Pueblos built almost a thousand years ago. Sunset Crater also a neat place with BLACK ASH everywhere.
We saw a BLACK rattlesnake there - I guess when they eat the black minerals it turns them a black color.

I will also want to see a photo of your trailer at an official US 66 Roadsign. Don't miss this op to get on US 66. I was going to post my photo op but cant put my hands on the photo haha... Was west of Flagstaff on a short strip of US66 with the San Francisco Peaks in the background.

Have a safe trip...

Roy Ken
