drafty from the bottom of the slide

Anyone ever do anything to seal up the slides when they are out? Mine seal up good when they are closed. When they are open the top and sides are good, but the bottom just has a vertical rubber seal, maybe 2mm thick with decent gaps. I don't feel it took much when its warm, but when its cold your toes can get a little icy from the draft. I've thrown some towels and plug the 1" gap from the slide to the floor on the inside. Just curious if others have the same issue and any ingenious ideas to fix.

Thanks for posing this question. I have the same problem and can see daylight from the corners of my full wall slide when it is extended. I sleep on the bed backwards when it's cold and that helped me personally but obviously does not solve the problem. I want to put some insulation in there but I'm nervous about screwing things up.

Happy Camping to All.

1950 here, just read your post and thought i would share this with you.
my 2021 redhawk 24 B had a recall for seals on the slide in the slide lock area.
After looking into the problem , i discovered there is enough space in that area to as we say Throw a Large Cat through. my solution to the problem______ Go to the fabric store and purchase a piece of foam 5inches thick . Cut 2 pieces and use them to fill the area when the slide is extended and in use. i bought a piece 18 inches square by 5 inched thick and cut 2 5x5 blocks to fill the gap. easy fix , just remove before you retract the slide.

hope this helps and yes it is just one more thing to do
