Drinking Water System Pump Running

Our pump for the drinking water system (the 5 gallon jug) continuously runs instead of turning off when not in use. Ideas? Thank you!

I would begin by looking for an air or water leak in the system. Loss of prime for that reason would cause that symptom.

As CAG stated leak is the big thing to look for if you are getting water at the spigot. Also I assume it has a pressure switch to shut off the pump when the pressure builds. Might look at that.
