electric awnings????

Getting near the end of the camping season. Was thinking on how to drop the awning for cleaning. Can you drop this awning against the trailer for cleaning.

There is no way to drop the awning. I washed mine by standing on a tall step ladder and using an extension wash brush for trailer washing. I had to wash from both sides in order to reach it all. It did test the auto dump feature though. When rinsing, enough water would pool up for it to dump.
Like others here have said, "when this awning breaks down, I'll replace it with a manual awning". What a piece of ....

Your awning may have some adjustment for angle of lean. I would set it as low as possible and then use a ladder and long handle brush to clean it.
