Electric issues

Hi…kind of new to RV life. We just pulled into the rest area, started the generator, fan, microwave…then power went out. Checked the fuse box. They see, to be ok…what next

Thank you…that was the problem. I also joined Just Answer … RV Mechanics. Trial for 7 day $1. He too told me to check the generator. Now I know . Appreciate your time.

For best advice I would suggest adding your RV id to your signature, year, make and model, to get best advice.


One thing to remember with any generator, on board or outside plug in is to always shut off all major loads before plugging in or turning the circuits on to the genny. Also, a couple minutes warmup is a great idea for longevity. The add loads one at a time.
