Electric Stabilizer Jacks Won't Extend

We have a 2015 Whitehawk 29REKS and in the past when lowering the rear stabilizer jacks sometimes they won't extend until we engage the switch a few times. Tried lowering them today and the motor hits hard but doesn't release the jacks and after a few times the breaker kicks out and resets, anyone ever had the same problem and a possible fix

I have had my switch go bad and replaced. If it goes you have 2 options if out in the field.

1. Take the screws out of the switch and jump it.
2. Manually attach the tool provided with the slot to the rod just above the motor and crank.

Could be your switch is shorting and actually working in reverse due to this short.

Contact JAYCO (support@jayco.com) with your VIN # and tell them what is happening. This way you are on record with the problem.

Sounds like the assembly may be bent... if you are close to the dealer, I would take it in for repair/warranty work.

I went out and gave it a slight twist with the manual crank and it broke loose and then I was able to extend it with the switch engaged. I retracted it back to the stow position and it would not extend again without a slight bump with the manual crank to break the bind loose. It does seem like maybe it gets jammed when it goes up in the stowed position

One of the legs must be out of alingment and binding in the recess track. Sounds like warranty work is required. What can help is taking some pictures and sending them ahead to the dealer so they can order the parts to have ready for install upon your arrival.

I'm having a similar problem (albeit far less severe; mine still work consistently). So I'm interested to hear how the problem is resolved or what parts or repair orders are requested.

I always just assumed mine needed more lube. I intended to lube them last time I had the trailer and was working on the tongue jack, but I didn't get the chance...

We have to take it in at the end of the season to have some warranty work done on a couple things so I will also add this to the list and will keep everyone informed thanks for the information on what could be causing the problem

Had this happen to me,i used the manual crank and ran them all the way down then back up again and they would still jam.I lowered again and the driver side jack was binding up,i pulled on it and slide it over and ran up and down again and they have been fine since.Somehow it was getting stuck in the middle when the other one was lowering and pulling it across by hand solved the problem

Problem solved, we were retracting the stabilizers up way too far causing them to jam
