how do you plan to charge it while out on the road? RV Park 30A outlet?

Funny you mention about the charging. I read an article a while back, RV Life maybe, that some campgrounds will charge extra for people charging their EV's on site.

I would expect that to be the case... as the typical RV park wiring will not have enough capacity to support a Level-2 or Level-3 charging station in the existing spaces. Only a Level-1 charger would be able to be used in your campsite, but that would only charge a typical 4-5 miles of range per hour of charging.

If a park wants to install Level-2 or 3 charging stations, it will require new dedicated wiring to that parking space.

I was going to do it with my Leaf before I bought another fifth wheel. Leave with it charged and use a regular outlet at the campsite to "trickle charge" about 3% battery increase every hour. Would be plenty enough range 99% of the time. Also, the Leaf is front wheel drive so I would have used a tow dolly. For me it wouldn't be much more than people charging there golf cart and riding around all day

If you're staying in populated areas there are usually charging stations available. I've been surprised at the long trips my son has taken with his Tesla and he's driving it. It seems even easier if it's being towed.
