Electrical Question

Looking at buying another Jayco. Many I have found show a single A/C and "prep'd" for a second A/C. If the unit has one A/C I assume 30amp service. Does prep'd mean they add the second A/C and convert to 50amp or does the unit stay 30amp?

It comes with 50 amp, just not the 2nd a/c.

Here is the Eagle spec:

50-amp service with dual A/C ducting and second A/C prep

I have "AC Prep" on my unit, and it is wired for 50A service so that the 2nd AC unit is "plug and play". That being said, it's nice to have the 50A plug, but I can run everything on 30A service just fine. I do not have the 2nd AC installed (yet).

Thanks, that answers the question. I had found a new 2015 but the specs show 30amp even though the dealer tells me he can add the second A/C. Guess I'll be keeping my 14 till I find a rear living w/2 A/C's or preped for the second.
