Electrical Qurstion

My trailer was hooked up to shore power at home. I plugged a drill on an outside outlet, and no juice. Plugged a wet dry vac inside and no juice. Everything else in trailer working. Wondering if those items require too much power or if I have a fuse blown n somewhere.

Check your GFIC, it may of clicked off.

Thank you. Not by my trailer but I dont believe the outside plug has GFI. Could they be connected to the internal plugs if one of those are clicked off?

Yes, there is often only one GFCI outlet with all of the others wired in after that outlet. Ours is in the bathroom, but controls all other outlets, so a fault anywhere downstream will trip that one outlet.

It is likely going to be on an outlet inside, possibly the bathroom.

In my white hawk the fridge, the outside outlet, the bathroom outlet and maybe one other are on the same GFI circuit. Your unit will have a similar set up. One of the outlets, probably the one in the bathroom] will have the reset button.

Occasionally the gfi will trip while in storage or after driving in the rain. Suspect it is moisture getting into the outside outlet but if the problem persists you might want to swap out the gfi with a new one. The oem gfi may have a weak spring. Under any circirmstance to not remove the gfi.
