Electrical switch reversed polarity???

I have a 2020 Whitehawk 27RB. On my last trip, I was outside the trailer with my wife inside. We were still connected to shore power and my wife said the interior lights got really dim, DVD player shut off, then lights turned bright again.

The only thing I can think of is I was messing with the battery disconnect switch and disconnected it. When the wife went to turn off the lights on the control panel, the interior light switch was turned “off” but lights were still on. She flipped the switch to “on” and the lights turned off. All other switches on the panel function normally.

What would cause this? Any ideas on how to fix it?

I did notice the GFI light was on, I reset it but it didn’t fix the switch problem.

Does your battery disconnect switch open the hot circuit or ground? Is your battery disconnect switch connected at the battery or is it a simple toggle switch the opens/closes a relay/solenoid? Without knowing this your going to get a bunch of guesses by people without a full knowledge of RV electrical system. Believe me I'm a licensed electrician of 38 years and read a lot of really bad electrical advice here and other on line forums.

It’s the factory installed battery disconnect switch. Which doesn’t really disconnect ALL power to the rig.
