Camping season never ends for us here in Western Oregon. My family has trips planned all winter long.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did–in his sleep. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.

Camp Driveway for another 2 weeks.

Then winterized. Provided Joaquin doesn't cause too many problems.

The campgrounds in eastern and northern Idaho are already closed for the season, so I planned a 4-day weekend visit to warmer SW Idaho where they are open year round. Chest pains came yesterday as I was checking vehicles (torquing lug nuts). Should be released from hospital tomorrow, with some time left for trip. Only missed one day, but DW says the trip is off, and I cannot argue.

One scheduled in October, one possible in the planning stages for November. October will be our 2nd time in the new TT. We do Corp of Engineer Campgrounds at Allatoona Lake most of the time. All but 2 are closed Labor Day afternoonand one, our favorite, this weekend. Need to find a couple of campgrounds that are open and fairly close.
