16) 3M hooks are your friend!

17) Keep your black tank valve shut until you're ready to dump!

18) You can crack or leave open grey when hooked up to sewer!

20) Some struggle with backing their unit into an RV spot!

21) Pool noddles cut to fit your slide help prevent head scars!

22) Simple green and blue dawn works good to clean your roof!

23) Worth repeating, yes the Predator 3500 generator will run your AC!

24) Leaving your outside RV lights on is discourteous to fellow campers!

25) Don't use one's campsite as a shortcut!

26) Travel Trailers can sway and lead to accidents!

27) Rain gutters work good to keep your slinky from sagging!

28) Every tire is stamped with the Week/Year it was manufactured!

29) Tires are generally good for 3-5 depending on use and maintenance!

30) A Hensley/Pro-Pride hitch will eliminate sway but are expensive!

31) Some campgrounds require proof of insurance for your golf cart!

32) Pick up after your pet!

33) Clean up your site before leaving!

34) Leave no trash in the burn pit!

35) Reserve America is not always accurate, call the park!

36) Did you know a Predator 3500 generator will run your 15K AC unit?

37) Check your unit for leaks regularly!

38) Irish spring does not keep mice away! They eat it!!

39) There is no easy way to put a fitted sheet on the bed!

40) Camping World is the devil!

41) For the men in here, your wife is tired of you yelling at her when backing up the rig!!

42) You can not run all your electrical needs on a 20a house receptacle!

43) Nothing will eliminate all the movement in your rig except stacks of concrete blocks!

44) Yes, Blackstone grills are great and need to be seasoned!

45) Yes you can use the big rig diesel pumps at Loves, Flying J, Pilot and other large truck stops when towing the rig!

46) The Igloo countertop Ice maker is the SHIZZNET!!

47) Texas is windy and it takes FOREVER to cross the state!

48) Get a water filter, or three!

Awesome post, that should be a sticky.

Thank you - You have condensed 80% of the value that I gleaned from two years of following this forum into a one-minute read.

Now, if only I knew which generator I should get that would be powerful enough to run my AC.

I have to bite my tongue and not post to some of the RV comments on Facebook, it is the worst of the worst and dangerous for rookies.

I've seen some near deadly advice on Facebook RV groups. Worse yet, the bad advice is backed up by others making it seem legit..

One important item you forgot is that your trailer will always turn inside the turning radius of the towing vehicle when going around corners.

The only thing missing from that list is that everyone lies about fuel mileage and sex!

Great list, but I learned the hard way that #18 is not a good idea. Once the grey tank is empty, you'll get septic smells coming back in through your sink drains if you leave the valves open. I would leave those closed as well.

Just my $.02.

This wife has learned that duct tape is useful. Over my mouth.

I only holler when he is about to hit something and my word is STOP. Followed by "Please get out and look at this"

Semaphore hand signals accompanied by screeching sure does not work.

If its just bushes he can hit I walk away around the campground.

You must have your mask on - before you call. walmart requires a mask at all times.

Unless in Florida near Disney - their Palm Trees do jump out in front of trailer fenders. The same tree jumped out in front of three the weekend we were there.
