Has anyone used "Wholesale Warranties" in the past and how was the experience?

Hey! Did you ever get a response from this thread? I'm looking into Wholesale Warranties now. Did you go with them? If so, what's the scoop? If not, did you go with someone else? I didn't want to start a new thread before I checked.

3rd party warranties are notoriously terrible. It is essentially insurance that a large pool of people pays into, and the company does everything they can to avoid paying out on anything. If you can't get a manufacturers warranty, it is almost always best to bank the money you would pay for the warranty and pay out of pocket for repairs.

Well, that's what I was leaning towards, not getting it. I read the fine print of what they sent me a few months ago and it seems like they can deny almost any claim saying this or that didn't get maintained so they deny the claim.

Only ones I ever bought were backed by the dealer. In that case there is normally a reduced or no deductuble when they do.the repair and a refund clause when trading or selling.

I had two extended warranties, one 3rd party and one from the dealer. When I went to use the third party one on my motorhome they were out of business and I got nothing. One the dealer one I was supposed to get a refund if not used and when I went to get the refund my dealer said I would not get one since they no longer dealt with that comoany and they had no way to contact the company. I DO NOT look at any extended warranties for anything any more. They are just rip offs. When I just purchased my 2020 motorhome the dealer tried to rope me into an extended warranty several times and I declined. I hope this helps.

Sounds like you dealer made a quick buck since that is who I always got my refund checks from, not the Warranty Company.

That is why I don't deal with that dealer anymore.

I did not get any response. I did not purchase it as I thought the price was to expensive. I did ask if structural defects are covered ( delimitation, frame issues etc.) and they said no. Only items covered are components put on the vehicle. Slide mechanism components, range ect.
