Extra heat in underbelly

Well guys i just wanted to let everyone know i ordered my inline vent blower ,drilled the hole in floor and thru booth and also ran thermostat in the floor . hooked all up all is well, today is 10/18/2022 out side temp is 34 and heat inside is camper 72, i turned the inline vent blower on sat the temp to 64 and wow my enclose underbelly is 64 degrees. So i turned blower temp up to 72 to match inside camper and now underbelly is holding 72 degrees and my floors are very warm . temp in holding tanks are 70 degrees. No more frozen water lines . if anyone wants more info let me know. I am surprised Jayco has not thought of this.

Here is something else i installed plastic over the windows and took blow dryer to them you all know the window stuff you get at walmart for drafty windows , well let me tell you this stuff has helped my camper hold the heat in and i also put it on the screen doors for warm days so you can leave big door open. It is 32 degrees out side and my furnace is sat at 72 and only comes once every 52 minutes. Now thats a propane save and money saver people.

I forgot also in the summer time you can set for it to turn on to keep underbelly cool and to take humidity out of camper. Using this over the summer has really help with the AC unit not haveing to kick on as much. This infinity air duct fan is so worth the money. Again with heat on the temps last night in ohio got down to 31 degrees and as you can see in the picture of control box the underbelly was set to 64 and temp was 60 in the belly when i woke up. You diffently will not have to worry about pipes or black or grey tanks freezing. So Foe $200 bucks and about 45 minutes of your time it well worth the not having to worry any longer

Insulation

Another thing that helps out is adding more insulation to the underbelly we went to Lowes got some rolled R13 and took down coraplast in sections and stapled the insulation up with batting facing down , talk about floors being cool in summer and warm in the winter.it also reduced outside noice as well.

It is asy to set up , the inlet will such air from camper and then blow it below floor level. I put mine under my dinnet seat as to hide it , i then use a 4 inch hole saw to drill out both holes one for inlet and one for out let that goes into floor then i hooked up the flex tube that i bought at walmart. I plug it in and set low temp to turn on at 66 degrees for winter and set the high side at 74 for summer . let me look , ok temp out side in ohio right now is 34 under bell is 66. You can also set fan to run at a lower speed when it turns off to maintain some air flow as well . when it kicks back on the fan speed will be a lot faster as you can set fan speed from 0 to 10. I have mine set at 7 when on and 3 when off.

Thanks for the idea as my pipes freeze at 32F outside. Jayco advertised 10F but when I challenged them they came up with lots of disclaimers. So I want to add this. Where did you locate the blower? Where does it get its' cabin air? If I were to locate the blower say in the bathroom at the front of the fifth wheel and duct it through the floor where would you put the outlet vent? Lastly how do you access the thermostatic it's in the basement? Sorry to be so obtuse, but I just can't visualize.

That is my thought also. I see no need to heat the underbelly to the degree the OP is. The idea is fine, but at 32 degrees I don't think any camper is going to freeze unless the temperature stays at that level for several hours. Set the underbelly stat at 35-40 or so and you will probably save a good chunk of heating cost.
