What system do you have. My DVD/stereo player is connected to the TV. You have to change the input on the TV to (if I can remember right) input 2 for the DVD player.

You have to press 'input' on the TV remote & scroll down to 'AV' for DVD's. See if yours is the same way.

I think you have to hit the menu on the tv and change the setting from cable or air or what ever it says to AV or something like that.

Tried all that. The AV cable in the back has the white and red plugged in but the yellow has been clipped off at the tv. Could this be the problem? every thing is factory the TV is RCA that came with the camper.

Somebody must have been happy with the wire cutters.

X2 - yellow is always video, the red and white are for your audio.

I had a similar problem with my new rig. Found a yellow video cable unplugged from the stereo that went to the tv.

Re-plugged and all OK.

You do have to change the tv input to AV also!

Called the local jayco dealer today. Got the run around. Well that should have been caught before delivery. We need to get the okay from jayco since that is a something dealer prep should have done. I’d take it back to the dealer I purchased from but its 250 miles away. What should I do?

If it was me I would just replace the wire. Its a lot cheaper than dragging the tt 250 miles.

If you are OK with the sound coming from the deck then unscrew the 4 holding in the unit and plug either the red or white into the video output from the deck then plug the same color chosen into the video input of the TV. When you get a chance then you can go to the dealer or possibly another one in your travels closer and more convienient that works for you. If it requires snaking then the dealer will most likely have to do it.

Yellow wire in entertainment center

I believe the yellow wire is part of a 3 wire loom- Red, yellow and white- This is a short loom and connects to other outlets on the entertainment center behind the tv- If you can open up the area behind the tv, you can see if there is a 3 wire loom being used-There is a thin black wire that replaces the 3 wire loom and causes the yellow plug to be unneccessary- That being said, I admit I have a teenager do the repair- Or have a tech do it- Sometimes, we oldsters must admit the younger generation has an edge in this area- JMHO- DD

I'm unclear what tt you have. I have a rear entertainment center and the DVD/stereo player is just below the TV and the wires connecting the 2 is like DD said and its just a short wire threaded through the cabinet between the two.

That sounds a little more difficult. Looks like a dealer/warranty problem then.
