Farm & Winery Overnight Camping

Just wanted to share a great tip about free overnight camping at participating wineries and farms across the US for the newbies (and not-so-newbies) out there. It's a great alternative to Sam's Club and Walmart parking lots. Free Winery & Farm Overnight RV Parking – CU On The Road

Harvest Hosts

They are a great deal. We've been members for a couple of years, and have since gotten extensions because friends have joined too. Not necessarily destinations, but mid trip, on the way, kind of stops.

Free is not always free

If this is "free", I think it would be appropriate to add a disclaimer that it cost $40 a year to join the group. In addition you are encouraged to purchase products for sale.

Hi Norty1- although the $40 membership fee is clearly stated in the article and in the post picture, your point is well taken for this post. I will rephrase. Thank you.

Hi Folks, just a clarification, Harvest Hosts has a $40 annual membership fee. Your membership will give you access to a directory of farms and wineries across the US that will let you park on their property overnight at no charge.

Hope this helps. Thanks!
