I take it real slow and have the wife on a walkie to tell me what to watch for but I always go out and walk the sight first ... at on point I had a 100 ft string of rope lights I would plug in and run down one side of the drive when it was dark and it was like a runway ... worked great ... one time when I was backing a motorhome I had a tree behind me in a blind spot and when the rv stopped suddenly I got out and luckily the tree was dead straight up and didn't do any damage

Last summer we went to my BIL in BC. Has a longish single driveway - house/garage on one side and a fence on the other. Said pull all the way in and park your trailer. So I did only to find out when my Ford super crew and 30 ft tt in tow that horizontal across the yard isn't goin to work - I had got myself into a position where I couldn't back out of the yard. Ended up in a back-up go forward back-up go forward situation about 30 times to get completely 180* turned around in the back yard then pulled out and then backed all the way back into the yard. I'm not sure if that is testimony to good or bad backing up skills. Geeez....

Most of the time I'm pretty good at backin up - once in a while it's like WTF?
