That's one of the few good things about the aging process is that even the blunders turn mellow over time

Complete newbie mistake (very first one to make)

On our very first voyage with a "new to us" pop-up several years ago ... completely forgot to remove crank handle after packing and lowering camper. Arrived at campground and totally couldn't believe I did it. No one around had one that would work. Eventually went to TSC store and searched for something. Ended up finding a large socket that would work until I returned home to order another.
