First trip of 2013

I went camping Friday after work until Sunday afternoon. Very quiet. A few trucks went by my camp, and the snowmobiles went by several times, but overall very peaceful. Even the snowmobiles were not loud. I guess the snow absorbed some of the sound. One truck had 4 tracks instead of tires. My guess is that they were expensive. I had a small fire, wondered around the side of the mountain for a while. I saw a few crows and turkeys, but no mammals. I did see tracks of a fox, deer, and rabbits. Read a book, napped, and just relaxed. It was a very good trip.

I just got my new trailer and here in Iowa I have been looking at a good weekend to go. As we go all throw the winter. Was busy this weekend. Looking at this coming weekend. I am glad that you got to go as there is not very many people out there but some hunters and the wild life. Keep up the camping!

And that's what it's all about - sounds like a great weekend to me.

It was a good weekend. If the weather doesn't prevent me from going I will be out again this weekend.

Sounds like a good time. I'll be camping next weekend with our Boy Scout troop for the annual Klondike Derby, so no camper, just a good ole tent

Our Klondike Derby is in February. Our troop doesn't camp. They would get extra points if they did.

Here are a couple. I am in the process of rehabbing the old trailer. I worked on the attached patio last year, and it is now useable. It still needs a ceiling, but $$$ is needed to finish it.

Enjoy! We're hibernating at the moment - hasn't been much above freezing in western WA for the last few days. Hopefully get out in early March/April
