The TT is bigger than my first apartment! WOW! Can't believe all the slides. Sorry to hear about the loss but it looks like you have a great replacement. Love the TV too! Have fun with the new Jayco.

Thanks! We just finished our third trip of the year - a total of 11 nights camped in about the last month and a half, not too shabby.

Had a relatively small issue on the way out this last trip though. Going down a very tight road at about 40 or so mph (45 limit, but I know I was under because of the cars behind me) , with no shoulder. It was tight, but I had passed a dump truck going the other way, so it was manageable. Anyway, a girl / lady was driving the other way in a VW, and felt inclined to keep her drivers side door on the center line. Therfore, I had to go as far right as I could. The right side TT wheels slipped off the side of the road, and the cross bar of the electric stabilized but the road. It scared the fecal matter out of me, and really jarred the TT. The impact caused the totes of firewood on the bike rock to really bounce, and then spill all over the road. The 3P hitch performed very well, and even with the shot to the bottom, never swayed or got out of sorts.

There is a small bend on the shroud of the power stabilizer drive screw that I can fix with no issue. The cargo rack is bent just enough that it won't go back in, but I should be able to fix this as well. Needless to say, I wasn't a happy camper at the time, but am very thankful no one was hurt - it could have been much worse.

I don't know if she was distracted (phone, texting) or not, but she had room to spare.

On a positive note, other than that, it was a great trip!

She was distracted. Did she appear to acknowledge your struggles? Some are oblivious to what's going on outside their own vehicle.

Nope, not that I can tell. I slid off the side of the road, it felt like I clipped a power pole (I hadn't), pulled to the side about 1/8 of a mile up the road in a church parking lot, and never saw her even slow down.

I've always felt that there are some peiple that just aren't smart enough to operate a motor vehicle. You met one of 'em.
Thank God there were no injuries and the damage is minor.
