By accident while putting the cover on for the winter, I stepped on one of mine and destroyed it. I replaced with a Lexan one made by a guy in TX on eBay for less money than a part from the dealer cost. Lexan is made with UV mitigation materials in the plastic. Some butyl seam material like used on metal roofs (HDepot) and some fresh Dicor and it's been three years.
It's still crystal clear, no leaks, and strong enough that I can stand on it. (I tested that right out of the box, not while installed)
