Folding Dinette Table Legs

I am considering switching from the Pedestal Mount legs to Folding Legs on the table in our 19H but I can not find them anywhere online, I have found images of them and found a link to someone who did what I am considering...

http://www.jeff-z.com/rv/mods/mods.html

See about half way down the page, black legs.

I can not find anywhere to purchase them or a whole table if I wanted to... I don't have a local RV store and I checked the Tweety's website among many others. I am usually the Google master but for some reason I am stumped on this one. Does anyone have an idea where I could find them ?

Thanks...

-Mike

try marine supply stores online. They have a lot of neat options.

Angry

One source

Another

And another

Yet more

A manufacturer

One of these might work but are not the exact match to what you saw

Thanks for the suggestions...

I found all the same ones including the first one dalenoel linked to but would probably have to buy 1,000 of them as that is a link to the supplier from China.

I wanted to make sure I was not missing something, I may talk to my Jayco dealer and see what they say, not a pressing issue right now.

I'm curious... why you would do that?

For ease of movement of the table... having the flexibility to move the table closer or farther away from you while eating etc is nice sometimes. The only drawback we had with the 19H was the small dinette. The pedestals do have their plusses just wish there was a little bit more room in the benches.

I assume then you are looking for the set of two folding legs that come with some kitchen tables.

While I admit it's small I enjoy the sturdy table top that comes with the stable legs

If you just want to move the table around you could take a piece of 3/4” ply wood about a 1+” wide and a little longer than the spread of two legs. Mount the brackets that are currently attached to the table to the plywood. Then make a slide channel (two pieces of wood and a piece of aluminum flat stock) to mount plywood to the underside of the table. You will need a couple of stops to keep the table contained. Then you can slide the table back and forth. If you round the plywood corners a bit and keep the slots a little loose you can rotate the table a little bit to make it easier to get in and out of the dinette.

Jagiven...

Good Idea, was thinking of doing something similar on the floor but sliding table top would work better, Thanks for the idea !! Will look into that, have plenty of Aluminum at work...
