Fort Wilderness Fax Number

Can anyone verify the fax number at Fort Wilderness in Disney is
407-824-1221? Want to make sure I have it right before sending it.
Thanks so much.

This is the number I have from 2020. 407-824-3508, but things may have changed since it now goes to a central assignment desk from what I understand, no longer directly to the FORT.

More cost cutting at the house of mouse? We’re due there next month - perhaps for the last time.

We are scheduled to be there in June. I am crossing my fingers that things are as good as always. I've had a few conversations with friends that just visited and I hate to admit that things weren't exactly positive.

That goes back to pre 2020, so not a recent change.

Despite prices going up, it is still selling out, and the Parks have been crazy over the last couple months. Easter week is showing more passengers at the airport than even at Christmas.

Thanks, Grumpy, for the fax number. I will give it a try. We are suppose to go in a few weeks. A little concerned with gas prices and the world situation. We will see. I made a reservation for October in case this doesn't work out...and hope things might be better by then if we decide not to go now.

We were there last week, departing here from PA and stayed there 6 nights at the Fort.

Just calculated the total trip cost me about $9k. It's astounding given that we did same trip from 2017-2020 and it never cost more than $5k those years.

Diesel was about $4.50 when we went south and went up to $5.50 on the return trip. Parks are more expensive and with the add-ons to skip the lines, it was like $1300/day for family of 5. The crowds were heavy but it's going to be crazy this week as all of Disney parks sold out.

Despite the costs, it's more crowded than ever... call it revenge vacation from being cooped up couple of years and people not traveling abroad this year.

Thanks, Klinner, for the info on last week. Very interesting! I am a bit worried about the crowds...and I have not heard a lot of positive about Genie +...but we will go and have a great time, I am sure. It will be interesting to see how gas prices are on our way down and back. We are prepared to pay more...unfortunately.
