Frameless windows

I've seen these on other brands, but today at the RV show in Milwaukee we found a 2014 Jayco Whitehawk 28DSBH with them. They look totally slick! We haven't taken delivery of our 2014 28DSBH yet....I sure hope ours has these windows. I guess it depends when Jayco started installing these and when exactly our trailers build date was. Has anyone else seen these?

I have seen some recent eagle 33.5 fifth wheels with frameless windows. I bought a 2014 33.5 back in november, and mine does not have the frameless windows. The eagle premiers and pinnacles have had frameless windows for a little while I believe, but maybe they will become a new standard on most jayco products who knows. I wish my 33.5 had the frameless windows, but that's just me getting greedy now!

I think they started using them in the 2014 White Hawks, potentially with the Summit Edition package, but not sure on that. We should be taking delivery in a couple of weeks and ours has them.

Frameless windows do have that new look. We have them on our trailer. The only thing to be careful of is the twist mechanism that opens & closes the window is a bit fragile. There's two metal blades that expand to open the window and there's the weak link. Be sure they are lubricated and kept clean and you should have no problems.
Happy trails,

We don't even have a VIN yet for our Whitehawk that's being built, so I hope it has them. All of the 2014's we looked at on dealer lots last fall didn't have them yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm with pointrow. What is the advantage of frameless windows? Maybe a little weight, how about dual pane availability and performance/durability.

Do you mean the LED lighting on the awning or do they have interior LED's now?

Our 2014 29KS came with those windows and led in the awning. Inter lighting on brocure says led but ours has halogen.

The interior lights are now LED, other than the light above the stove/exhaust fan.

And as far as frameless over framed windows, I really like the look, but was told they also provide a better seal and maintenance.

Sweet! The LED's inside will definitely help when we're without shore line power! Can't wait to see ours. Still 2 feet of snow on the ground here unfortunately.

We really wanted to get the White Hawk last fall, but the 2013's were gone and there really wasn't a sweet deal on the 2014's. So we decided to wait until the first of the year, and save up a little more money for the purchase. Since we wouldn't be camping until spring, I am really glad we waited. The interior cloth changes with the frameless windows and LED lighting really sealed the deal with me. I love the 28dsbh floodplain but liked the windows and LED's we saw on a Flagstaff. Now with these updates to the White Hawk line, the 28dsbh has everything I wanted.

Those windows are cool!

My '13 Pinnacle's exterior weather stripping has shrunk and is now about 1" short on most windows with it. One section even was dangling by one edge when I went to storage this winter to check on things. Jayco says it is not warranty replacement/repair! The only redeeming fact is I was told the weather stripping is only for looks and does not compromise the integrity of the wind's ability to keep out rain, etc.

So, the lack of an exterior frame or weather stripping would be a great improvement!

I think the frameless windows look great, give a much more streamlined look to the trailers. Can a person get them double paned?
