fresh water fill...problem solved

Since day one I have had trouble filling the fresh water tank. When trying to fill with a hose it took forever as most water would back up and flow out the fill tube. I found the vent tube kinked and repaired that and filling was easier but still slow. This time I used the hose with a typical pressure nozzle on it and the tank filled immediately. Dont know if this is a problem for others, our tt is a 184 swift, and the inlet line is almost straight into the water tank, very little downward flow, I guess that is why the higher pressure works so well......happy camping!!!

I smiled when I read this post - had a similar problem with mine from the beginning. Finally, after getting soaked one-too-many-times when the tank burped back at me .. I looked good and close at what was going on. Seems when the trailer was put together they did the same to mine & crimped the venting tube. After a bit of playing around, I got it straightened out and, boy-oh-boy, is life ever better!
