Friendly reminder when moving a snowy RV...

Please do you best to shovel the roof and remove as much snow as you can. Going down the interstate today, for maybe 45 mins, I saw two Class C's lose a whole sheet of snow and ice from the roof at 60mph.

Luckily no one behind them got hammered.

We're heading out tomorrow and I just got down off ours after shoveling a good 6" of the white stuff off.

Thanks

Snow? Nothing like that here in Georgia. But after this week we will have to shovel a couple of inches of pollen off our roofs [emoji23]

Pconroy not everybody thinks like you. Some people really don't care about what might happen going down the road as long as they are not the ones getting hit.

Yeah - that's sad, isn't it?
I'm not sure they're inconsiderate, I just think - they don't think!!!

One of the lessons I recently taught my 19 year old was to *look* at the load in the pickup truck in front of you.

It was piled high, poorly secured.
One bump and everything would have come flying out.

It never occurred to him.

I witnessed two fools going down the road in opposite direction from me. First guy pulling a trailer loaded with plywood & no tie downs. 2nd was a fairly new pickup rideing the fronts rear like a sniffing dog. Just before we passed , you guessed it, top sheet stands straight up and flys off back and the tailgater slams into it.

I had the fun opportunity last fall of avoiding a chair and table that flew out of a pickup truck. The cars ahead of me were flying everywhere and some how we all threaded the needle and no one hit anyone else. I started to go to the shoulder when the car ahead in the lane over cut me off. But then he pulled into the shoulder and slammed on his brakes and I had to drive all the way to passing lane. I always drive with several seconds of space but even that can go away if the person next to you decides they want your lane. The seneca and jeap came through without a scratch.

Reminds you to keep awake and pay attention at all times.
