Question Front end protection

I'm looking to add some protection to the front of my trailer. It's more for the looks because the way the putter wall has become wavy near the bottom. When I redid the floor I had the front inner wall apart and there is nothing holding the outter wall against the frame and the further down it goes the more wavy it gets.

So my question is, does anybody know of a good place to purchase the diamond plate in 8' widths? I've seen it on the trailers both in metal and composite. I haven't called my local shops yet but will and will post results, just didn't know if anybody has already done this.

My local Metal Depot had it when I added it to the front of my Apache popup. It comes in varying thicknesses and I would think that you'd want the thinnest that is available to keep added tongue weight to a minimum.

Thanks.

Scott,

Here's a couple web pages to check out.

ModMy RV Diamond Plate Rock Guard

Midwest Steel & Aluminum

I did a Google search on "Aluminum - Diamond Tread - Alloy - 6061 T6 - 0.1 x 28′" to get that site.

FYI - I had diamond plate put on the front of our FW by a local collision shop, cost ran ~$800 including parts and labor. I'm sure you can do it a lot cheaper if you do it yourself.

Hope this is of some help to you.
Good luck
