Can you see yourself in the mirror?
What more do you believe the mirror should do then show you the picture of the rear-view camera? If you are seeing the camera when in reverse the fuse is not blown.

there are about 4 or 5 buttons bottom of mirror so you can toggle full time camera & other settings , none work, looked on line manual can't find fuse for it, thought that might be simplest place to start. i don't look at my self in mirror i use it for the purpose intended. dabrown

The fuse should be located on the wire harness coming from it. Look under the right or left side of the dash board.
Do you know the make and model of the mirror? If not maybe post a picture.

But again, if the picture is showing when in reverse the fuse is not blown.
It may be that it is either not wired correctly or these functions were not enabled when installed.. In order for the mirror to constantly monitor the camera they must both have power at all times when the RV is running.

Some of these mirrors have settings that will also only work when an image is being displayed, such as settings like brightness and contrast.

i think you may have hit the nail on the head about being installed when built, because this is an e450 and rather a bare bones cab. thank you dabrown
