Fuses

In the RV fuse box I have two large silver 30amp fuses that don't fit well. They push on other fuses because they are so large. Anything special about these types? Any reason its not just a regular see through fuse like the green attached? How would you know it even tripped since you can't see inside it (outside the slide not working)?

I believe that's actually a 12V circuit breaker, not a fuse.

ETA: You should be able to replace it with a standard blade fuse of the same capacity. If the circuit overloads, you just have to replace the fuse each time instead of wait for the breaker to reset.

The most common place I've seen 12V circuit breakers is on power tongue jacks because they are prone to popping when the jack hits the up or down limits.

Yep, I believe you're right. Went back and checked out the panel again and it has 'Auto' by the description. Hard to find these guys online, but Advanced Auto Parts had one:

How long does it take for them to reset if tripped?

Depends. IIRC, those reset based on temperature? So if it cools down quickly it will reset quickly, and vice versa. I seem to recall someone mentioned that they will usually reset in 10-20 seconds.

Truth be told, I've never tripped one that I know of, so I can't really say.
