Be aware my friends. We received an alert from ARCO that our card was nearly maxed out. Finding that very odd since we haven't used our card since June 9th. well long story short June 20th (today)somehow these thieves got our card # and use it to by fuel, evidently for every buddy they have, to the tune of $1697.00 in diesel and gas.
We asked ARCO customer service how this happens when we have the card in our possession, and they are able to scam the stations. ARCO had no idea how it happens. Check your accounts and be aware at stations. We saw this on news channel from a station camera they get all there friends and cans etc and start filling.

ARCO knows very well how it happened. You went to a pump that had a skimmer on it. They copied your card info and made a duplicate. Happens all the time. That is why you set the cc alerts at the lowest dollar smount possible so everytime it's used they alert you.

This is exactly how it happens. Not just gas pumps but ATM's are vulnerable as well...
