gas grill connection

We have an LP connection under the trailer with a quick connection. How long of a hose you use with it? We have propane lantern, stove, and grill we can use.

I have two 20ft hoses that I put on for my grill, griddle, fire pit or tabletop propane heaters. I only use one at a time. My trailer is 35ft and the connection is at the back so a total of ~75ft for me. Those hoses are pretty expensive so I haven't tried any longer than that.

Same here. Ten foot extension for the Weber grill, then I disconnect that and hook up the portable fire pit with its own 15’ hose for a total of 25’ from the connector. No loss in pressure.

Do you use a throwaway bottle hose? or a different type/setup?

Here's a link to the Camco 57282 propane extension hose. The15' hose I have connected to the fire pit has the quick connect fitting on one end, and a threaded fitting on the other.

I took my regulators off of everything (more on that later). I connected male quick connects to each of my grills. Then I just connect the hose length I need and the trailer regulator gives the right amount of propane.

What I also did is connect a female quick connector to each of the regulators I removed. Now if I want to use one of my grills away from the trailer (like my backyard at home) I just connect the right one to whatever grill it came from and use the throwaway bottles.

I also have one hose that will connect to a standard propane bottle on one end and the other end I have a female quick connect. This way I can also use my spare standard size propane bottle on any of them.
