I purchased the iQ2000 generac. Generac have been in the business of generators for years and always produced a reliable generator. The iQ 2000 is about 3db quieter than the Honda equivalent and it also has some nice features.
So far I can not fault it in any way.

No disrespect to the Generac generators but why is it they don't list the db rating anywhere in their specifications? You'd think if they were actually quieter than a Honda or Yamaha, they would boast about the noise level. I don't believe there are any quieter generators than the Honda or Yamaha Inverters which is why they cost an arm and a leg.
