It's 4 weeks before we can go on our first trip w/ our new camper and I'm getting the itch bad!! I'm going through all that I need to get loaded up and hoping I can remember to write it all down so I don't forget. I also have to de- winterized my trailer!! Come on spring and get this ice up out of my yard!!!

You are lucky that you only have 4 weeks to wait, up here in "The Great White North" we will still have plenty of ice and snow in 4 weeks!

Seriously??? You are like 4 hours from Savannah, GA. I would be camping there right now if we didn't have a 10 week old at home. My in-laws just pulled in to Savannah this evening. As far south as you are, you could do weekend trips throughout the winter if you wanted!!!

Spoon, our girls are starting their dance comp schedule, so that's tying up some weekends. In fact our first trip is for a dance competition w/ 3 other camping families.

Oh, well that makes sense. Luckily my 2 year old isn't quite there yet. We still have free weekends for camping!

By the way, I was being tongue-in-cheek with you, I hope my post didn't come across as condescending.

Agreed. Weather here in Texas is in its typical roller coaster phase right now. Spring one day, winter the next! Got my first trip on the books for March. Can't wait!!

I've decided that if we can't take it out immediately, I'm going to plug it into our 30amp service on the side of the house and sleep in it in our driveway if I have too... Just so I can get the full experience of the new trailer and wake up smelling that new trailer smell!!

We have a brand new Jayco popup in our garage, we picked it up on a brutally cold day last November. We cannot wait to open it up and begin prepping it for our first outing in June. It's going to be a great summer, but for today, we are awaiting another overnight with a low of -8 degees F.

We are having unusually warm weather in the Pacific Northwest so we took our new 24 FBS out for it's maiden voyage last week. Now it's back at the dealer for a slide adjustment (comes in crooked), refrigerator repair (blinking green light) and window repair (one won't open and other handle came off). It's driving me crazy not to be able to pick up and go. Maybe another week to go to scratch that itch again? :-)

Really feel for those of you experiencing this winter's horrid storms and huge snow drifts! California could sure use some of your weather as our drought is very serious! Am working 4-day work-weeks AND can telecommute, so almost monthly since we got the TT we've been beach boondocking near Santa Cruz; in February it even got to 85 degrees!
