Goodbye to our Eagle

Said goodbye to our 2015 Eagle this afternoon. We were rear ended on August 22 and it is totaled. We went to the dealer where it's parked and emptied it out today and ordered a new 5er to be built in March. Can't wait to get it. Kinda sad to miss out on fall camping though.

Sorry to hear of your accident. I'm sure that it is going to be a long wait for the new one.

Any damage to your tow vehicle?

Just the receiver hitch. Getting a new one. I'll probably hit them up for the cost of a new WD hitch as well. Could have stress cracks in that can't be seen. We have wanted a 5er all summer but this was a hell of way to go about it.

I feel your pain. We went the other way - from a 26.5RLS Fifth, to a not-to-be-named-here TT. We were right at payload with the fifth, and in the 4 years since they gained weight, so rather than go over, we "downsized". TT is great, but sure miss that fifth a lot!

Sorry for the trouble but look at it as a way to turn a negative into a positive. Sounds like no one was hurt which is all that's really important...
