Got my table brackets. Have a few ?s

Hot my table brackets today to fit on the outside grill mount of my trailer. The bracket on the outside is 21 inches. The brackets are 30. I'd like to make my table at least 30 inches. Do I need to cut the 30 inch bracket to the length of the one on camper and still make the table 30 inches wide? I'm worried about the weight distribution on the side of the camper. I hate to replace the existing bracket already on camper with the other side of the new one. Something about drilling holes in camper scares me

Any help would be greatly appreciated

You could use the 21 " but if you want to use the 30" Remove the 21" ,reuse what ever holes & screws you can mounting the 30" & use self drilling screws on the balance. That's what I did. I also mounted 2 more rails below the factory rail , about 4 " apart so depending how high I need to go to level the tt I can make the grill perfect for my DW. Larry ( I'm always thinking of my stomach)

Did you caulk around the new holes you made. I'm worried about leaks
