Can't wait for Spring when we move into the new place!
Congratulations.

We deal with the storage issue also and it's a pain.

Good luck with the move.

You're going to love having your RV at home. I had Quicken tally up all my storage charges for the 14 years before I moved the TT to our Home Base. It came to over $6,000.00.

$6000 for 14 years? That's a bargain in these parts. I just tallied up what ours would be after 14 years and it was $21,000! Could buy a whole other trailer!

One of the perks from living here in crabland, no storage fees for boats or the Jayco, no water or sewage bills. Like norty I like having my stuff closeby so I can tinker on it. But I realize that`s just not possible with many scenarios.

Congrats! Sounds like a win/win. But the humorist in me must point out that the storage costs are probably cheaper. LOL!

I can see not allowing the RV to be parked in a public street, but not allowed in your own driveway on your own property? That stinks!

It's a double edge sword living in an HOA community. If they allowed it and everyone did it it would look horrible. In the areas around us that allow it you have the good clean ones mixed in with the old run down ones and it actually brings down property values.

Ah.. HOA. That explains it. I thought it was the city/town that had a law.

I live in a sub division with 200 homes. We have nothing preventing parking anywhere as long as it is off the roadway.

Including my rig, there are 3 others rv's.
