We clean and grease ours too including the sway bar. The sound when you don't was awful. We keep lil single use packets in out TV for when it starts squawking, easy fix

Always greese. Easy on and easy off but a little messy.

I use motorcycle chain wax on my ball. Spray a little on when it appears dry. This type of lub is designed to stick to the chain and keep water and dirt out. As the previous poster said "easy on and easy off."

Never used to. Now, always do. Will try the m/c chain wax, sounds less messy. The hitch grease can jump, I'm certain of that.

I've found that applying a little Lotrinin grease helps with the itching!

I grease every other tow. Never had an issue with a coupler sticking as a result.
