I put it under the passenger side of our Seneca, just a cheap waterproof multi color LED kit off Amazon with Bluetooth controller. Was kinda worried about the peel and stick tape lights staying put so about every 6” I put a blob of clear silicone over the tape and it’s still there after 12k miles. Works great and a nice feature.

How did you tie it in to your 12v system?

I tied it into the compartment lighting. I also installed LED lighting in the compartments connected to door jam switches so the lights come on when I open the doors.

Really nice! Do you have a link to the kit you purchased?

This is the kit I used but it comes with a remote controller that is junk and I later replaced it with a bluetooth controller that works great. You also need a plug to just wire it into 12v instead of the power converter supplied. If you did some searching you could probably piece it together as you dont need the converter part. I have used various LED strip lighing on our motorhome and its real easy to work with, adding some under the cabinet toekick lighting now.

I like what 314BHDS did. I installed 8 Rock LED RGB lights yesterday. They are bluetooth and can be just about what ever color I want, plus many other movements that I will never use. I needed 8 extensions to reach from the back to the front where my battery is. I just have to tack up a few more of the wires then it will be road ready. I'll take some photos later this week and post. Total cost was under $120.

Just when I thought I was done with mods, now I need ground effects. Thanks guys... I can imagine it helps a bunch when backing into a site at night. Gregg’s look pretty bright. Do any of these kits have a dimmer feature? I have a dimmer addiction, I like soft light. Super cool!

Yes, the app lets you dim the lights so they don't over do it. This took a couple of hours to install but it works nice.

All right you guys, now is a good time for you to stop adding cool things to my list. Just when I thought I was about done, another great idea gets added to the list. 😁 I really like the look and effects the rock lights give. Thanks for the links too. Great idea for backing in the dark.
