H2O Y-splitter

As the title says, I’m looking for a splitter to use for the water pedestal. One leg will go to the RV and the other to a hose for general purposes. My problem is that all the splitters I can find specifically say their are not to be used for drinking water.

While I do use an inline water filter, I still don’t want to introduce contaminants with the equipment I use. I have an H2O pressure regulator that is certified “lead-free, drinking water safe” so I know that is “a thing”.

A search of CW and Amazon gave me no positive results. Does anyone have a source for what I’m looking for?

Thank

They make them with brass. I use the one below with the large- long handle.

https://www.amazon.com/Connector-Spl.../dp/B01IC6ZQRU

If you camp a lot, you will find many that people forget to unscrew from the hose bib. I could open a hose accessory and fishing tackle shop.

Awesome. I went to their website and they specifically say they are drinking water safe...just what I was looking for.

Thanks!

We have picked them up at Wal-Mart & Camping World. And yes, we are one of those that have left one behind - DW was having issues inside the unit & got side-tracked. Now she follows behind in case she has messed the routine up.

I think I found yours and I just love it! You have no idea how many times I use it to wash my hands or fill my bucket with water or rinse off that dirty rag.

I also have a nice selection of them and pressure regulators. Leveling blocks are also a bonus find. I even had one X-chock.

You're welcome

Yes, I have left a couple of water pressure regulators at CG's. Never found one

Now I use quick disconnects. Sometimes I forget and leave the one end on the spigot, but, I have several spares

Everyone should also have one of these in their rig:

I bought one years ago but have never found a use for it. You have to squeeze it tight to keep it from leaking at a dump station.. I'm thinking about leaving it in a campsite next time.

I have used mine at state parks without hookups that have spring loaded faucets that you have to hold open. Great for filling a bucket or the fresh water tank with a hose connected.

Yep they have a use. We just have not done that type of camping ...yet. Maybe I'll hang on to it.

Here is the one that I put together and have been using for a couple of years, it has a pressure regulator and the water filter one one side and a faucet aerator with a heavy duty quarter-turn knob on the other side. Works great.
