I've been watching Clarkson's Farm - it's better than I had expected. If you're familiar with the trio's sentiments on RVs, you'll appreciate his irony.

The backstory is that he needed access to electric and water on his farm and the RV park next door was the only available source. They agreed to allow him access if he'd do just one thing...

My local fairgrounds did that a few years ago. It was a big hit but the racers that use the speedway on a regular basis through a fit because it was dirt track and got all torn up and they were picking debris out of it for months! Crowd loved it. They did Campers and School Buses in the same weekend!

They have trailer races all over the US as well. I know they've been doing them at least 20 years here.
