Have to find new Jayco dealer.

Richardsons RV here in the inland empire of So CA. was bought out by Camping world...great. Richardsons was the closest Jayco dealer to us. Hope I do not need service any time soon lol.

Food for thought: Maturing markets/industry exhibit some fairly consistent traits, among them;
1 Consolidation of leading competitors reduces intensity of competition. (even campgrounds are being bought up by companies like Sun Resorts. Gentrification?)
2 Market strategy has become less of innovation and more of price, channel or brand.
3 Cash flows are returned to the stakeholders and not used to build market.
4 New innovations or entrants tend to peter out at low levels of market penetration.
5 Market shares of leading players don't change or change ever so slowly

The sales team was extraordinary!... Once we owned it for a few weeks and wanted to use it, it was not a good experience. Even for a seasoned Rv'er.

Sadly, our experience as a CW customer that purchased a Seneca with the expectations of getting the unit to satisfy the most basic of occupancy standards - (Heat, Water, Hot Water, Sewer, Lighting) they have missed almost every mark.

We refuse to take our Seneca to any CW location for service, and our extended CW warranty expires in 2 months.

Details we have... Lot's of paperwork, some of it in process right now where they will not fix what is in the contract.

Do a search out there and you will find hundreds, thousands of complaints. Also is you swing to the right, Marcus Temonis (SP) doesnt want you shopping there.

So, it seems that in the RV industry, if your customer service reputation is bad, buy out the ones that are good, and control the standard to stay bad.

I see more and more of these posts from those who are unfortunate in their experience in buying new with poor service experience on new RV purchases; this will keep me from ever buying another RV. I'll keep what I have.

I know it would be about a 5-hour drive from your home location, but "RV Country" in Fresno, CA is a Jayco Dealer and have always treated us well. That's where we purchased our trailer 3-1/2 years ago and have had our rig serviced and worked on several times there.

Yes I've dealt with Skyriver RV in Pismo. The Pismo location is right across the street from our favorite campground. Although I haven't bought anything from Skyriver, they were very helpful with some advice for a minor repair that I had to make while camping in Pismo.

Camping World was bought the RV dealership where we bought our Hummingbird, Richardson’s RV Center, has been acquired by Camping World Holdings, Inc. The agreement encompasses Richardson’s eight locations in California and Indiana including five current locations, one future location and two parts and service centers. I found out because all of a sudden we're getting Emails from them and I was marking them as Spam and then I received a phone call from asking if everything was ok. I advised them not to call me anymore, because Marcus doesn't want us shopping there.

Good Luck

It has been my experience that if a dealer, Jayco or otherwise, didn't sell it to you, they won't fix it for you.

So the service we got from Richardsons was the worst. Yes more so then camping world, but to answer the question I would call Jayco who is authorized in your area.
