Headed out this weekend....possibly the last one for this season

Weather is supposed to be sunny here this weekend so we are going o head up to Alice Lake and try to get one with electricity ....crossing my fingers that we I'll get a site since they are not taking reservations anymore this season. I might be able to get one more after this trip before calling it a season.

For us here in California, the best camping is October, November and even December. I love October the best and try to go somewhere where the leaves are changing. We plan are best trips during these months.

Here in our part of Virginia, camping season usually extends well into Oct, and even into November some years. We have reservations in Verona for mid-Oct, and that may or may not be the last, depending on how cold it gets.
