Help needed on Refrigerator

Hi all,

New to the forum and new to RV life. Was dewinterizing the unit I recently purchase today and all was going well until I got to firing up the refrigerator and freezer. Freezer is in the process and the temperature is coming down nicely but the refrigerator isn’t moving at all.

Any ideas?

Added a few pictures. As you can see, a few of the wires look burnt out but I’m not 💯 sure if that’s causing the issue or not

Just a guess but if the white and black wires touched at some point I would say yes, blow fuse, dead short or something of that nature.

If the freezer is coming down in temp then the unit is trying to cool meaning the electronics are getting power. Hard to narrow down at this point. The fridge temp may come down in time.

I have attached my troubleshooting document that gives some pointers for troubleshooting fridges. See if that can narrow things down.

Welcome to the forum!
First thing, I'd definitely be turning the power off and checking those wires, cleaning and tightening the connections. I'd guess those overheated connectors go to your 120vac heating element, which has a high power draw, and if there's a poor connection it's not going to work well. Your fridge may work better on LP, which then doesn't use that heater. As others stated, the adsorption refrigerators do take time to cool down.
