Help with Shower Line Leak

i have had a leak in my shower line and tried to fix it with a new washer. The washer is a black tappered washer that fits inside they the connector screws on top of that..but it is still leaking.

i thought about changing outt he fitting but it is fastened on by a metal clamp that cannot be removed...

can someone please help me fix this issue....either finding the right washers or replacing the connector...my local Jayco dealer has a bunch of idiots working for them that dont know anything...

Toaster,

Can't help you fix the leak. Is Southaven RV your local dealer? If you can't get anyone on here to help you fix it, call Mashburn RV in Jonesboro and see if they will help you.

Go to your local Lowe's store and find that fitting, Buy it, remove the new washer and install on old fitting. Also check that the fitting itself is not cracked. It will seep if it is and you will need to replace it. You can get the tool to compress the sleeve in their plumbing tools section. They should have all the plumbing parts used in these trailers.

Edit, I see you changed the washer, did you use one from the same fitting? If so then it is probably cracked, if it is the fitting you can cut off and replace, just need the tool. Also check the nipple it attaches to, if it is cracked, you will need to replace the faucet. As a plumber, i would look at that option as a opportunity to upgrade.

If you have a multi tool,or dremil, use a metal cutting blade and being careful not to cut into the pex,cut it off.

Where is it leaking? Did you try wrapping teflon tape around the pipe threads and re-tightening it? If that doesn't work then like mentioned above go buy the parts/tools at the local B Box store. A pair of needle nose pliers will loosen the clamp enough to get it off too.
