Hide A Bed Air Beds?

We have the hide a bed air mattress for our couch in the 26rls. We have been deflating and folding the mattress up in the morning and then storing it in the drawer under the couch.

Can you simply deflate and leave the air mattress on the couch and then fold the couch up?

I have the same on mine and per the instructions, it can stay fully deflated folded up in the couch and that is how I leave mine.

That's how we handle it.

That's how we do ours as well, for the last two years. Seems to work ok.

My previous Jayco had a different brand (AeroBed) that I deflated and folded up in the bed. It quickly developed a leak and was replaced under warranty. I did a bit of looking at the bed platform and found there were metal bars that my guess caused the puncture in the mattress. So I had an old movers pad and put it under the air mattress and folded it up with the mattress when I was done with it. That seemed to fix the problem so I used the same pad under this Jayco's air mattress and it has not any issues. HTH

I just blew mine up for the 2nd time. Never been used in 2 years. Next week, I will have a couple grands on it.

Thanks for the moving blanket tip. I have one at home that will be used as a mattress pad.

I have the 26RLS also and we just fold ours up in the couch. Of course we are careful to ensure that it does not get pinched anywhere but we are halfway through our second year with it with no problems.
