Can you share some of the treasures you have unearthed (is that a word) with us? I have about $2 in coins and a lot of old nuts and bolts I found. Only did it one afternoon.

DW and I compete in BBQ competitions. That is the reason we bought the TT in the first place.
DW s first grand champion win.

Sweet rolling BBQ, Getting hungry just looking at it.
I usually try to get some fishing in when we're camping since we're almost always by a lake or river. I also work on 'bushcrafting' skills with my daughter. Primitive firemaking, shelter building. I have a metal detector that never seems to get used. I'll probably start taking that along since it was mentioned above. All I've found with mine is junk, but it's an interesting hobby.

I like to take my TT to Radio Control Soaring competitions. The gliders run the whole gambit from being built of balsa to being built of 100% composite like Kevlar and carbon fiber. Wingspans range from 6 to 14 feet, and sometimes bigger. We also fly fish in the cooler months. Other than that we do go on sight-seeing trips, too, and I always have a guitar with me...

Photography mostly. Have a Canon 60D with 5 lenses and other accessories. Been doing it on and off since I bought my first Minolta SLR in the 70's.
Just getting back into fishing a little when we are camped where it's practical.

Funny you should say that. I also have a Minolta SRT-101 from the 70's. Still use it occasionally. My primary camera is an Olympus Evolt 500. I always fish too. Primarily salt water.

Mine was an SRT-102 - great camera. Used it for 15 years, then bequeathed it to my niece.

Mountain biking and exploring any trails I can. We also run RC trucks...Vaterra Halix and Ascender Bronco for me and a Helion Invictus and Axial Wraith Poison Spider for my wife. We like the crawlers the best. Most of our time camping is spent sitting around the fire just relaxing. We try to plan to do pretty much nothing while camping!

I pretty much try to do as little as possible. I like to have drinks, take leisurely hikes, and try a sampling of local cuisine when possible. Other than that, I sit. A lot. And I breathe. A lot.
I guess if I had to pick a "hobby" it would be observation of nature. DW can't understand how I can sit in my camp chair for hours on end just listening to and watching nature. It's relaxing to me, and I like to relax when I'm camping. That's why I like hunting so much; it offers the maximum amount of peaceful nature observation.
Does napping count as a camping hobby?

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.
