Honda generator/inverter joke in Canada

I thought this be a good to share but it's not a joke.

I walked into a Honda dealer which sell all the Honda line products from lawn mower to cars. Anyways when straight to the corner where the inverters and generator are shown. I looked at the price tag which listed the price and the bottom showed a PDI charge which amounts to about 8% on top the retail price plus sales tax.

Then a salesman came over and I asked him what's with the PDI charge. He said it's a charge that all dealers out on. Then I asked him, the inverter is not a car, you hand it to me in a box and I put gas to make sure it runs. Like I was going to hop on it and drive out there! The salesman replied was "that the way dealer is". I replied, see you and good night!

This is a true experience here in Canada. Out right getting ripped off

PLUS it cost more in Canada than it does in the states after you take into account the exchange rate...

Honda costs too much even in the US, which is why I have a Powerhorse instead.
