How and Where to Sell?
We unfortunately have to sell our three month old NP 375BHFS due to a change in our jobs.
I know we won’t probably come close to what we owe on it, but we want to include all the accessories needed to hit the ground running.
We’re asking 60k, but does anyone have any tips or places to sell it?
We are based in the DFW area.
Thanks!

You might try craigslist. I would look to see if there are any others in your price point. If not, I would skip it.
As an upscale unit you might even consider the old fashioned way of your local newspaper.

Craigslist is free so wouldn’t hurt to put it on there. I would also see if your dealer may do a consignment as grumpy suggested. What stinks is that even though the unit is only two months old, the two warranty doesn’t transfer to the next owner. Good luck with the sale...

I sold my fiver on www.rvtrader.com recently after 3 months ad online. I suggest to buy $99 plan so your listing stays on top for visitors and has longer ad time.

I consigned w/ my dealer. Sold in under 2 weeks; which I consider remarkably lucky and or blessed.
I still see some consigned motorhomes on his lot that have been there since May.

I advertised my pristine 2014 Melbourne 29D on rvtrader.com month after month and never received ANY kind of response. NONE!

Craigslist is the best in my opinion, but all the places mentioned get good visibility. The key to selling used, regardless if it's one week used or ten years, is pricing it correctly. There must be enough incentive for someone to select yours over another used or new unit.
NADA prices are way to high for what we all see as real world transactions.
For me personally, it would have to 25% less than I could by new for to even consider a current model year used RV vs just getting a new one. Simply not having the factory warranty on a used unit is something most buyers would consider.
If a new 5er has a $90k MSRP, I would know I could buy it new for ~$65, therefore I wouldn't even think of buying used for more than low-$50s
Just my $.02
