How big will these slide rooms get

Anyone seeing the new Jumbo Slide? Sort of a slide within a slide? I don't see jayco with one, yet...

Heartland has a new floor plan with a slide within a slide. You can google the cyclone 3611JS if you want to see it.

One dealer says it's 38' long, with the living area of a 44' due to the jumbo slide.

It looks pretty wide and may not fit in some narrow rv spots. It looks cool. But than again, something else to go wrong? What do ya'll think?

I had to do a double-take the first time I saw one of those. It was so weird looking. I don't remember what trailer it was, but it kind of looked like the main slide had a huge wart on it. I just don't know any other way to describe it...

They're also making 5ers with a slide that comes straight out the front cap. There's one right next to my spot in storage. It's a "Hill Country" something or another. I thought that was a little risky given how much force is exerted on the front cap during travel, but what do I know? I'm no engineer.

I don't know, but for me personally, I don't think I want more than 2 slides on a trailer. My current trailer has a HUGE slide (IMO) and sometimes it makes me nervous. I couldn't imagine something bigger, and more than 2 slides is getting to be a little much for me. I can see their benefit, but then in school I studied something called the "law of diminishing returns" and sometimes I think that applies here. Along with my opinion that all things being equal, simpler is better; I don't need another complicated gadget to break/fail...

Jayco had one with what they called a "monster" slide a few years back. It was a really nice looking fp but had some problems. I think it was discontinued in 2011.

It was the 321RLMS.

I'm just a first time RV owner, but honestly, 1-slide already scares me, LOL! More than one seems like pressing luck!

Maybe I'll feel differently in a few years. The other thing that occurs to me is that as time goes by (and kids move out), I'll probably want less trailer, not more...

But you never know... maybe my wife will end up with that kitchen island someday anyhow...

I'm with you here. But at the same time, the slide (even just the one) does A LOT to open up a trailer. So I don't think, even after the empty nest, I will have a trailer without 1 slide in the living area. The other slide I would consider is in the "bedroom" area. I think that's about the most I'll ever need or want.

But like you said, you never know...

WOW! Could be the perspective of the picture, but it looks like you're sitting so far back that it would be hard to interact with anyone unless they were beside you.

Ha, it's a toy hauler! I knew it.
You keep a pony in the back to turn the windlass that operates the emergency retract.

Be careful. Hitch weight is 3485! A bit much for even some 350/3500's if you want to have some left for passengers and cargo.

Oh boy..That Slide must weigh a ton! 2 slide mechanisms, 1 within the other? I wonder if they both move on a single screw and motor or if there are separate screws and motors for each slide? I hope the manual cranks work well.. just in case.

and I'm worried about the weight of the 12.3 ft slide in the 38fdds i have on order..
