How did you hook up your LED light strip?

With the power supply....no problem, but how did you go about hooking up to 12 volt? Mine has no wires to hook up with.

On the power converter, I cut the 12v output side off, threw away the 3 prong plug and converter and spliced off of a constant 12v source in my control panel.

I didn't order a power supply with my set. It came with a short section of wire that had the end on it to match the controller. I ran the wire up the arm of the awning up to the roof and down the fridge vent. I then picked up the 12-volt from the power for the fridge.

I plugged the controller in the outside storage compartment 110v next tothe door of my 31FS. I ordered a 16' extension cord for the 4 prong 12v cable. I will connect and disconnect every time we ut the awning out. I did realize I can close the compartment door on the wire and lock it, I also left the IR receiver sticking out as well, so the remote will work. I could not find an easy path to run the wire through the sidewall of the RV to do a more permenant install.

Mine has a round connection that goes into the controller from the power supply. So I cut off the far end(near the power supply)of the cord with the round end, strip that back, and connect that to a 12 volt supply? Just out of curiousity, if I wanted to plug into my 7 pin connector on the TT(not used for anything else)which pin would I connect it to?

Yes that is correct. It is what I did to tie into the TT's 12V system right at the converter. Not sure which pin is 12V on the plug. You might be able to see a diagram on the plug cap on your truck.
